Privacy Policy — RIGROUTE

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the RigRoute mobile and web application (package com.cargilere.rigroute) accesses, collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information. RigRoute is developed and operated by Cargile, R.E. L.L.C. (Cargile, R.E. L.L.C.), the developer of record, for RigRoute, LLC (planned). 1. Information we collect

We collect only what the app actually uses:

Account and authentication identifiers. Email address and a securely hashed password, or, if you choose Google sign-in, the email address and basic profile identifiers Google returns. We also store the account ID and session tokens needed to keep you signed in.
Profile and role data. Display name, selected role (driver, fleet manager, dispatcher, admin), and fleet membership.
Truck, fleet, trip, and route data. Vehicle and unit details you enter (dimensions, weights, axles, trailer configuration, hazmat class, fuel type and economy, toll and road preferences), fleets and fleet membership, trips, planned and saved routes, origins, destinations, and stops.
Alerts, hazard reports, notes, and documents. Content you submit, including driver hazard reports (with the location you describe or select), fleet notes, and documents or permit records you upload or record for your fleet.
Data and deletion requests. The request type and any notes you include when you submit an export, access, or deletion request in the app.
Technical and log data. Standard server and security logs from our hosting and database providers (IP address, timestamp, request path, user agent) and application error reports (error message, stack trace, page) used to diagnose crashes. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not operate advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.

2. What we do not collect

Device location. Live and background location are disabled in this release. The Android app requests only the INTERNET permission and does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions. Any location information exists only because you typed or selected it (for example a route stop or a hazard report).
Payment or financial information. Payments are disabled; there is no in-app purchase, subscription, or card processing, and we do not receive card data.
Advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or ad targeting data.
Contacts, photos, SMS, call logs, or the contents of your phone.

If any of these functions is enabled in a future release, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration before that release ships, and we will request the applicable permission and consent at that time.

3. Why we use your information

Create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
Provide core features: truck profiles, route planning, trips, saved routes, alerts, reports, notes, and fleet coordination.
Show your data to the correct people within your fleet and restrict it from everyone else.
Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security and availability.
Respond to your support, access, export, and deletion requests.
Comply with legal obligations.

Routing outputs in this release are demonstration data and provide routing assistance only. They are not a substitute for posted signs, permits, dispatcher instructions, or professional driver judgment.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. Information is shared only in these categories, all of which are in use today:

Within your fleet. If you join a fleet, that fleet's managers and dispatchers can see the trips, routes, units, notes, documents, and reports associated with that fleet, plus your display name and role. Other drivers do not receive your email address or password.
Backend and hosting service providers. Supabase (database, authentication, storage) and Lovable (application hosting and delivery) process and store your data on our behalf under their agreements with us.
Google Sign-In (optional). If you sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication request and returns your email and basic profile identifiers.
Error and reliability reporting. Application error reports are transmitted to our hosting platform so we can fix crashes.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or of Cargile, R.E. L.L.C.
Business transfer. If RigRoute or its assets are transferred, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

5. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data is stored with our backend provider with encryption at rest. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by the authentication provider and are never visible to us. Access to your records is enforced at the database level with row-level security policies, so drivers can reach only their own records and fleet staff can reach only their fleet's records. Administrative access is limited to personnel who need it. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and we do not promise absolute security.

6. Retention

Account, profile, truck, trip, route, alert, report, note, and document records are retained while your account is active.
When you request account deletion, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal records within 30 days of verifying the request, except where retention is required by law.
Data and deletion request records are kept up to 24 months as proof of handling.
Server and error logs are retained by our providers for a limited operational period, generally up to 90 days, then deleted or aggregated.
Records shared with a fleet may remain visible to that fleet in aggregate or operational form after your personal identifiers are removed.

7. Your choices, export, and deletion

You can review and edit your profile, trucks, trips, and reports in the app at any time. To request a copy of your data, a list of what we hold, or deletion of your account and associated data:

In the app, open Settings → Data export / deletion and submit a request.
Or email support@cargilellc.net from the address on your account with the subject "RigRoute data request".

We verify that the request comes from the account holder, acknowledge it within 7 days, and complete it within 30 days. Requests are handled manually during the alpha. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, or object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

RigRoute is a professional tool intended for commercial drivers and fleet staff aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Parents or guardians may contact support@cargilellc.net.

9. International users

RigRoute is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored on servers operated by our providers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. By using RigRoute you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date above reflects the current version. Material changes — including enabling location, payments, analytics, or new sharing — will be posted on this page and reflected in the Google Play Data safety declaration before those changes take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated policy.

11. Who we are and how to reach us

Developer and data controller: Cargile, R.E. L.L.C., operating the RigRoute application for RigRoute, LLC (planned), a planned California manager-managed subsidiary. Formation of RigRoute, LLC is not complete; until it is, Cargile, R.E. L.L.C. is responsible for the data described here.
